The workshop asserts that human resources policies and procedures are important protectors of nonprofit assets. By knowing which policies provide both guidance and protection to mission vital brand reputation, participants will be able to prevent issues that arise because of these policies. And they will gain practical experience both preventing and addressing potential human resources-related leadership challenges.

Sandra Marra, Marra Consulting Group, LLC
Sandra has more than 30 years of experience in leading organizations in both executive staff and board leadership roles. She is the founder and principal consultant with Marra Consulting Group, providing organizational, strategic and change management support to nonprofit boards and senior staff. Her experience includes Chief Operating Officer of an $20 million nonprofit organization supporting educational and service programs for developmentally disabled children and adults. She is also currently a volunteer Board Chair, leading a $10 million national member
organization. She holds a Masters of Science degree in Personnel and Resource Management from The American University.
